The best donuts in town! They’re NOT sweet like other donuts! I really wanted to take picture of apple fritters but my husband ate them all in the car! 🤣
Donut dough was extremely fresh and soft. Went at 6pm on a Sat. It was busy, but worth it!! They were making fresh dough and donuts in the side room, you could watch through window. FRESH DONUT CRAVING HANDLED!
I have been going there for over 30 years and I have to say never once was I ever disappointed. Great gem of Palatine. Always consistent. Where can you go and watch them make the donuts anymore? We are so lucky to have this great shop to enjoy! Thanks gang, keep up the GREAT work!
Can’t ever go wrong spunky dunkers, this quaint donut shop is a must try. Something I appreciate about spunkys is the don’t overdo the sugar, the dough is awesome and light. they also have thee BEST chocolate Bavarian cream donuts ever, whenever I’m in town I’ll get a few for my dad and he always slams them and takes mine. Plus running a 24/7 is so honorable, I hope they never change that. Red velvet, lemon cake, chocolate Bavarian, and apple filling donuts are the must get. I stopped getting there honey dipped (is that glazed?) donuts because they never put enough glaze and I feel like I’m eating fried bread.. whomp whomp, that’s my only criticism! 10/10 otherwise

Awesome little donut shop that a friend recommended I visit the area. Got a dozen delicious donuts for the family to share, and they were delicious. The apple fritters were the best. When its crowded, it's a bit of a mess, but it's workable for sure.
Order some donuts for the first time a couple days ago and they were absolutely delicious . I had also call in prior to ordering and the manager was extremely nice and answer all my questions. One day I will come visit in the future and look forward to it

Nine treats for seventeen and change, what a sweet surprise, I watched the baker shaping dough, fresh magic before my eyes. At nine o’clock, the fryer hummed, still working late and true, Each bite was crisp yet tender, with no oily film to rue. I meant to snap a picture first, but taste got in the way, Half the box was gone before my phone could have its say. The blueberry stuffed with cream cheese—my favorite by far, A hidden burst of tangy sweet, a shining donut star. Every ring was fried just right, golden, airy, light, Spunky Dunkers, what a find, a highway gem at night.
Tho place is so great. Fresh donuts and way more reasonably priced / better tasting than Dunkin 100%. 4 large donuts for $6.86 is pretty good. I got the double chocolate cake, Bavarian creme filled and jelly filled powdered donuts. The chocolate was amazing. Will be coming here instead from now on. I went around 7:30p on a Sunday and the donuts were still tasting very good.
